Export/Documentation Agent – Jamaica (Kingston Office)

This position is responsible to coordinates freight for export by expertly providing inland and ocean freight management solutions while adhering to internal and regulatory requirements that guide and govern our documentation processes.

EXPORT/DOCUMENTATION AGENT – JAMAICA (KINGSTON OFFICE)

Essential skills:

    • Manage oral and electronic communication.
    • Manage Cargo Inventory.
    • Coordinate Shipping Line Bookings.
    • Generate Bill of Ladings.
    • Coordinate Cargo deliveries to and from Port.
    • Generate Dock Receipts.
    • Attend to customer queries by telephone relating to their shipment and give general information on the Company.

    Required education:

      • Degree in Custom Processes/Freight Forwarding, Shipping & Logistics.
      • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the area of shipping.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel & Outlook.
      • Excellent Time Management skills.
      • Strong analytical skills.
      • Ability to meet deadlines.
      • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to both internal and external customers.
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
