Laparkan Shipping is looking for dynamic Sales Executives to join our growing team!
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for soliciting new commercial customers for ocean and air freight cargo island-wide and securing repeat business. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build customer confidence while expanding and maintaining our customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Secure appointments with new prospects
- Negotiate rates and provide competitive quotations
- Grow and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Prepare weekly & monthly sales reports and activity plans
- Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives
- Represent the Company at trade shows, promotions, expos, and outdoor broadcasts
- Participate in Sales Team planning meetings
- Conduct market surveys on rates and industry trends
- Review personal sales performance to meet or exceed targets
REQUIREMENTS- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the service industry
- Strong ability to identify and develop new business relationships
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
- Previous sales experience in shipping or air cargo industry is a distinct advantage
